BEING THE BEST TO MY
MOTHER
Who is my mom?
My mom is the best.
Everyone knows that,
There’s no contest.
When I was just a baby,
Who stopped me screaming?
Only one awesome lady.
She had to wake up every night
To stop me crying
She is totally cool
And I’m not lying!
Sometimes we go too far
Her head overloads
We keep on misbehaving
And then she explodes!
So how do we pay our mothers back,
For the kindness they gave,
The answer is we do the same
Until the day we reach our grave.
We must be polite
And kind all the time
Because if we don’t
It will be worse than committing a crime.
We must be obedient
And do their bidding straight away
Because if we don’t
We will be going astray.
We must be thankful
For what your mother gave
Because good deeds will help us
When we rise up from the grave.
We must always treat her
Like our very best friend
Because if we don’t
We’ll be in Hell in the end.
Don’t be annoying
That’s not very nice
Instead, why don’t you make a cake
And give her the best slice?
Listen to her lectures
Even if you’ve heard them all before
Don’t groan loudly
Like a demented wild boar.
Don’t make her angry
Don’t make her sad
Don’t make her cry
Just make her very glad.
All these years
Your mother looked after you
Now it’s your turn
Let’s see what you can do.
